You can now engage with your friends or others you follow on Instagram in new ways starting today. Ask for music recommendations using question stickers, and chat with the people you follow on Live. Furthermore, you can count down special moments with your friends with new interactive stickers in stories.

Connect via Music on Stories:

By choosing a song from the Instagram music library, your friends can give you a reply to your question stickers, and you can also share your desired one on your Instagram story. Your friends can help you find the best music, whether you want to listen to songs for the holiday or tunes to go through the last weeks of school.

You will see the music icon with the question sticker whenever you utilize it. Your friends can respond to your question sticker by sharing music from the library. To view the responses, you can open the viewer's list. You can listen to all the shared songs by tapping the play button. Furthermore, you can also take images or record videos to share your favorites on the story while playing the music in the background. Some new effects are featured in the camera that reacts according to the sounds and beats of the song. Swipe to the music in the camera to use these new effects.

This music feature is available for Android and iOS devices with the latest Instagram version in the regions where the Instagram library is available.

Connect with people you love on Instagram Live:

Use the question sticker in Live to ask questions from the people you love and admire more fun. You can ask your favorite beauty blogger about doing holiday makeup, and they can tell you everything immediately. Conversely, ask your favorite basketball player about delivering the best shot, and they can show you live.

Go to the other's stories to reply to their question stickers to ask a question or get its answer live. If the other person goes live to answer, the Q&A will appear in your Instagram story tray. You can join the live video to see the questions they are answering. If someone is live and giving answers to the questions, and you want to ask more questions. You can go to their story to ask a new question, which will appear in its list. People going live can also use their camera roll to share photos and videos so you can view the scenes behind the content from your favorite creators.Questions in Live feature with the latest Instagram version is available for iOS and Android.

Countdown to your Moments:

A new countdown sticker has been introduced in the Instagram stories. It lets you count down for the end of the day on Friday or upcoming events such as the New Year with your friends on Instagram.

 Go to the sticker tray to select the countdown sticker after taking the picture and video to add to it. Give your countdown a name, enter the end time and date, and change its color as per your wish before sharing your Instagram story.

You can find the countdown sticker in your sticker tray and can reuse it on stories until its end. Your friends can share it in their stories by tapping on it. People who follow or share it will receive a notification when the countdown ends. This countdown sticker is available for Android and iOS devices globally.
